WAREHOUSE WORKER
We are a small warehouse in the Springfield NJ area looking for a positive energetic warehouse worker to help with the day-to-day activities.
GENERAL WAREHOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience.
- Prepare daily UPS shipments including pack and ship via UPS terminal.
- Prepare daily LTL truck shipments.
- Pick and load local in-house deliveries for our delivery trucks.
- Pick orders, load and unload containers and stock inventory using a forklift.
- Learn all aspects of distribution (Customer Returns, Receiving, Restock and Transfers).
- Able to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to do inventory cycle counting.
- Forklift experience is a MUST.
- Ability to communicate in English is a MUST.
- Good organizational skills are a MUST.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace.
Environment
- Subject to outside elements such as rain, snow, hot and cold.
- Noisy and dusty.
- Lifting 50 pounds on a regular basis.
