Corvus is looking for a versatile and creative content marketer to help push our brand media to the next level. Reporting to the Director of Content, the Content Marketing Specialist will contribute significantly to Corvus’s brand publishing, ranging from producing videos to managing research projects to drafting blog posts. Ideal candidates have a diverse skill set that includes experience with producing media in multiple formats, including audio/video production, copywriting, and web design. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues who are focused on digital advertising, email marketing, social media and graphic design; you’ll be producing the content projects that drive their campaigns. A flexible role, the following duties may be more or less emphasized based on the candidate’s existing skill set and desired growth areas. Producing and editing video and audio content working with internal subject-matter experts
Managing the editorial calendar, ensuring that content projects are created and published on time
Managing the creation of content projects (e.g. whitepapers) from planning to production by gathering research, interviewing subject matter experts, drafting copy, and collaborating with the design team on layout and visuals
Optimizing existing and new blog and web copy to meet internal design standards and SEO practices
2-4 years experience creating content in-house or at an agency
A keen eye and ear for quality, professional production that elevates a brand’s image
Ability to work iteratively with several stakeholders, incorporating wide-ranging feedback
Organizational skills - living by calendars, lists, productivity tools etc.
