Would you like to be an early part of company with lots of growth potential? Corvus Insurance seeks a talented Product Designer to join our ambitious, and growing Product Design team. We are a dynamic team of entrepreneurial professionals with backgrounds in insurance and technology creating a commercial insurance company that combines the latest technology with traditional insurance. You will be instrumental in working with our Engineering and Product teams to incorporate your talented design skills into our state of the art software products.
Responsibilities
- Design UI, user flows, features and experiences for our CrowBar platform
- Produce low and high fidelity designs and prototypes
- Work closely with product managers, engineers and designers to define product strategy and execute on project objectives
- Conduct user research and user testing
- Participate in Design Thinking sessions
- Present design concepts clearly and persuasively to stakeholders
- Give and solicit feedback effectively and frequently
- Contribute to the company design system and brand guidelines
Qualifications
- Energized by solving difficult problems and creating intuitive, simple experiences
- Frequently share your opinions and challenge assumptions
- Adaptable and able to perform in ambiguous situations
- Work autonomously and as a valued member of the team
- Think strategically and execute tactically, often influencing the definition and direction of a product
- Have a broad skill set including: IA, interaction, visual design, user research, front-end development
- Always strive to improve your skill set and expand your knowledge
- Experienced in creating various design artifacts and understand how to use them effectively to communicate
- Have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS and can communicate design effectively to engineers
- Collaborate well with others and are dedicated to the company's success
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience at a technology or product-driven company
