Assembler Operators

Job Summary:

Cosmo Cabinets is looking for new team members in assembly and machine operation.  Seeking serious individuals who want to join an experienced production floor, bring a good attitude, show up every day, desire to cross train and grow with a young company. Responsibilities:

Each employee of  Cosmo Cabinets is required to follow all safety protocols and work as a productive member that will contribute in a production line manufacturing team. Each person is important to the success of our organization! Job duties may include some but not limited to the following tasks:

• Follow work order process by studying work orders/labels/ production requirement sheets 
• Meet production standards and daily goals by focusing on the task at hand and keeping quality consistent
• Follow work instructions, both oral and written from Supervisor and Team Lead
• When operating machines, observe each production piece from build or machines to make sure quality standards are met.
• Verify and checks size of production pieces with instruments such as tape measures, gauges, calipers, and more.
• Build assemblies carcass or drawers according to need.
• Keep the production lines moving consistently throughout the day in all assembly and machining areas.
• Previous assembly or machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility desired
• Available to work late or arrive early, some Saturdays and overtime when need
• Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Must be able to read labels and follow verbal and written instructions. 
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE and follow proper safety protocols.
• Ability to see and anticipate a future need in the area in which you operate
• Adhere to a daily time schedule

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a machine operator required.

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to work in noisy environments
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Lift up to 30-60 pounds at times.  
• Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb
