Cottage Grove High School is searching for a head wrestling coach who shares and is committed to:

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and consult with all levels of Cottage Grove Wrestling, including the youth levels (middle school and Cottage Grove Mat Club)
- Monitor academic progress and eligibility
- Effectively analyze and teach the fundamentals skills and strategies of the sport
- Plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate practices session along with develop, implement, and evaluate game plans and strategies
- Serve as a leader, mentor, and role-model to the student-athletes of the program
- Work with the athletic director to prepare competitive team schedule and fund-raising initiatives
- Prepare, monitor, and manage team budget
- Select, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches
- Ensure compliance with all CGHS athletic department, Sky-Em League, and OSAA policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to serve the entire CGHS Athletic Department through supporting other programs, assisting in off-season game and event management, and willingness and ability to fund-raise.
**High School Head coaching experience preferred.
**High School teaching or work experience is preferred.
