The Maintenance Director is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Department in the entire operation of nursing home. The essential duties include, but are not limited to:
The Maintenance Director is responsible for the overall Physical Plant of the building including:
· Landscaping
· HVAC (unless otherwise specified by a license)
· Lighting
· Fire systems
· Fixtures
· Plumbing
· Electrical
· Personnel management and budgeting
- Ensure that all physical aspects of the building are in working order.
- Maintain the physical plant within the state and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Supervise assigned workers engaged in maintaining the facility.
- Order and account for supplies needed for maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry and the upkeep of the facility.
- Ensure high standards of safety, and operation/care of equipment in the facility.
- Maintain and strive to improve standards of environmental services.
Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- One year of demonstrated successful management experience in a health care facility preferred.
- Must possess basic knowledge in building and equipment maintenance and related areas.

Pay: $55,000-$60,000/year DOE
