Country Home Elevator and Stair Lift is excited to be accepting resumes for a Operations Assistant role that will support installation and Sales efforts in the elevator and lift arena in our Corporate office - Brighton, Mo. location. Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience with working knowledge of project coordination processes, construction management, scheduling initiatives, Permits and Inspection. This is a long term, full-time opportunity.

JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Assistant is responsible for tracking the progress of new and ongoing projects. This role will spend 8 hours per day Monday- Friday documenting, filing, and supporting the daily allocation of equipment, materials, and manpower that is associated with the projects. Assisting the Operations team in planning and scheduling the various activities required to produce successful projects on time and budget. This position requires attention to detail and great communications skills, both written and verbal.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College coursework preferred.
- Moderate to Advanced computer skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Office environment experience required.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Prior Construction Industry experience preferred.
- Ability to answer multiline phones and handle inbound customer calls
- Ability to review weekly service calls and make a plan to follow up and track to completion.
- Extreme attention to details and listen skills
RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES
· Reports to the Operations Manager
· Ensures bid documents, contract documents and manufactures documents are consistent in scope, price, and finishes.
· Maintains filing systems as assigned, both electronically and paper
· Prepare project folders for office, job packets for field staff, and warranty documents for owners.
· Tracks progression of projects during the various stages of construction
· Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure project delivery within expected timelines
· Inputting information into various platforms and ensuring it is processed to requirements, and that information is accurate and timely
· Reads and deciphers job notes from the field and determine if needed and or if a return visit is required.
Assist with writing policies and procedures and implement them.
· Authorize parts purchases, tracks them and communicates with customer/contractors for pre-construction visits and service return visits.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
