SUMMARY
The County Market Scanning Coordinator duties include but are not limited to providing genuine customer service, providing customers with accurate prices and 100% scanability, gaining product knowledge and working in a safe manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
- Perform implementation of price changes for warehouse and DSD items
- Ensure that prices are correct and go into effect in a timely manner
- Maintain batches/batch paperwork
- Communicate and resolve price discrepancies
- Makes and enters changes in computer systems
- Maintain E Verification report
- Sign making for all departments
- Maintain in-store deal tracking system
- Weekly price changes
- Handle pricing issues for total store
- Maintain shelf tags
- Request tags/deletions using proper procedure
- Create pricing records for new products
- Work within company programs, policies and procedures
- Follows all store and department policies and procedures
- Follows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly supervises associates in Scanning Department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appr aising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Or one to three months related experience and/or training;
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The associate frequently is required to walk. The associate is occasionally required to stand; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to vibration. The associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
