Job Description
The purpose of the class is to coordinate and supervise the work of employees engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and equipment; to assist with minor building construction and renovation work, and assist with other trades as required; to provide leadership of subordinate staff as assigned, and to perform related work as required. The class works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision of the Manager of General Maintenance.
Requires an Associate"s Degree in a related field of study. May substitute degree with formal vocational training, apprenticeship experience, and/or a certification/license in plumbing.
Must possess a valid state driver"s license. Must possess and maintain Backflow Prevention Certification. SC Master Plumber license preferred.
Requires a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
