What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Designer position at County Prestress?
County Prestress is a comprehensive concrete products manufacturer. Our company offers structural and architectural prestressed and precast concrete components to meet the growing demand for infrastructure and large-scale commercial construction in the Midwest. Job Duties:
- Prepare drawings as required or instructed by Project Coordinators.
- Prepare piece drawings (minimum of two days) prior to their production dates.
- Make changes to AutoCAD or Revit drawings as required or directed.
- Provide clerical assistance to Engineering Department as required or requested.
- Order embed plates and loose material well before it is required so material can be fabricated, assembled and delivered.
- Work closely with Project Manager/Engineer to solve casting and field problems as necessary.
Work Environment:
- Office working environment
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting frequently
- Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds rarely
- Standing / Walking / Climbing
Experience & Qualifications:
- AutoCAD or Revit certification, or Autodesk certified.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and perform AutoCAD or Revit tasks as directed.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
