Job Description
The Webmaster will be responsible for maintaining and updating server presence and content and ensuring websites are functional, user-friendly, visually pleasing that is accessible to the public and up to date. They will work closely with our editorial staff to provide end-user support.
We are looking for a leader on this front working with our scrappy team to ensure we have the right human to build development projects end to end, present progress updates, and demonstrate new functionalities.

We are a fast-growing digital media company and so an enthusiastic, roll-up-your-sleeves, and get-things-done attitude is needed to thrive in our fast-paced environment. We look and feel like a startup, with less infrastructure but more ability to build this program to be what you want it to be.
This position reports to the VP of People and Operations. This is a fully remote team that mainly works on EST hours.

- You have some experience providing end-user support to a variety of humans, staff, freelancers and end users. Leading projects and taking charge.
- You want to see change in this world starting from the ground up.
- You like working with a myriad of people technical, non-technical. You have the ability to help explain concepts, timelines to non-technical audience.
- You find troubleshooting a fun challenge, you like to solve issues with a collaborative attitude.
- You have worked on testing websites across various browsers, operating systems, and devices making necessary adjustments for quality assurance such as improving website speed and functionality or minimizing downtime, or fixing broken links, and other day-to-day maintenance.
- You have experience working with engineering to deploy new website functionality and enhancements, apply bug fixes, update 3rd party plugins.
- You have a passion for documentation and building stability in an organization.
Tools and technologies we use that are essential that you know:
- HTML, CSS, Modern Web Standards, SQL, Javascript, and/or PHP
- WordPress and Gutenberg
- Search Engine Optimization
- UTMS and tracking
- Google Analytics
Tools we use that would be great if you have experience with
- CRM or marketing platforms, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Every Action.
- Popular WordPress plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields, Gravity Forms, SEO Press, and more.
- WPEngine or other managed WordPress hosting, and other popular 3rd party service providers
- The WordPress multisite environment.
