The General Store Associate assists guests with inquiries and processes cash transactions at the store.
Reports to: General Store Manager
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- To be an Ambassador for Cove Communities and CreekFire Resort at all times by committing to a culture of service, hospitality, and accountability.
- To treat all internal and external customers with respect, embrace your role as a problem-solver who is committed to continual improvement, and exceed guest expectations by living Cove’s Core Values.
- Greets guests, assists with inquiries, and processes payments for food orders in a timely manner.
- Displays positive and enthusiastic attitude at all times.
- Keeps store and check-out area clean at all times.
- Processes sale of store items, returns, and exchanges following proper procedure.
- Responsible for stocking and pricing store items.
- Supports with amenity rentals including golf carts, kayaks and bicycles.
- Maintains knowledge of items sold in store.
- Supports and follows Cove Communities and CreekFire policy at all times.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Superior customer service skills.
- Prior cash handling and point of sale systems experience preferred.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress environment.
