In addition to the amenities found throughout the gym our programs include aquatics, racquet sports, youth classes, individual training opportunities, Weight Management program, Small Group Training, virtual fitness, and group fitness. Strength training options include resistance equipment, free weights, and body sculpting classes.

Position Summary:
Responsible for membership sales as well as social media marketing for club and individual department of the Center. Manages online social media response during evenings and weekends as appropriate.

Responsibilities
- Meets with Department managers to plan, coordinate and implement program specific department marketing strategies for internal and external communications.
- Works with Covenant Marketing department to create specific job bags for the Fitness Center.
- Works with specific Fitness Center departments to create content for programs that will be communicated and marketed on social media, emailed to members and posted internally.
- Plans and develops along with membership manager outside/inside events such as health fairs and local wellness expos in order to promote the fitness center brand.
- Responsible for creating monthly direct mailer for the Center.
- Responsible for collating guest registrations in an effort to organize legitimate leads versus out of town guest. Manages the lead list used to communicate membership opportunities.
- Monitors the Fitness Centers social media pages and responds to posts as appropriate in evenings and weekends.
- Updates department managers on social media marketing metrics and works with managers to create content that enhances metrics and ultimately enhances the program and the department brand.
- Serves as a manager on duty.
- Participates with the annual budget planning and process. Specifically works with General Manager on developing online marketing strategies and its monthly and annual impact on annual budget.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a Bachelor’s degree in a directly-related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Experience:
One (1) years’ experience working in a health/fitness club or center.
