Summary:
This individual directs the operations of Information Technology impacting Revenue Cycle. This responsibility includes supervision of staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, inventory control, maintains effective system capabilities and interface with Revenue Cycle operational leadership. Maintains effective communication with administration, physicians, and staff. Ensures assigned services meet accreditation standards, are cost-contained, and provide quality service in an expeditious manner. Revenue Cycle includes Hospital and Outpatient Registration, Patient Access, Scheduling, Claims, Billing, Health Information Management, Coding, CDI, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Payroll.

Responsibilities:
Managing department capital and operating budget
Resource manager responsible for assigning the right people to the right projects at the right time. Manage and monitor resource utilization ensuring productivity and addressing issues of capacity.
Manage and monitor service and support requests to ensure they meet established service level agreements.
Escalation point for service and support issues requiring leadership support.
Responsible for hiring and organizational structure for areas in which they are responsible.
Supports the organization’s Mission, Vision and Values through demonstrated actions and leadership, and focuses staff on their commitment to strategic plan.
Advises on overall strategy for technology in Hospital and HOD settings for both Covenant and Affiliate Facilities.
Maintains current knowledge of advancements in areas of responsibility.
Demonstrates excellent customer service.
Contributes to organization success targets for quality, employee engagement, customer service, and net operating margin.
Supports and promotes collaboration, cooperation and teamwork across departments.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required. Masters preferred.
Epic Certification Preferred.
A minimum of 5-years leading projects and / or individuals or 2 years of Leadership experience required.
Minimum of 5-years’ experience with vendor software and its operations preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Proven experience leading people/teams/initiatives/projects
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software and web technologies
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must demonstrate ability to work independently as well as in small or large teams
Demonstrates the ability to resolve problems timely and effectively
Must be detail oriented and have a skill for information probing to fully understand the underlying needs that drive projects or cause roadblocks
