De La Pena Eye Clinic, located in Huntington Park, is seeking a Lead Medical Receptionist to join a growing and busy office.

Working Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, you have the opportunity to join a multi-site, multispecialty, state of the art group of providers that was founded in 1984. Over the past four decades DLP Eye Clinic has treated more than 400,000 patients!
The Lead Medical Receptionist 's responsibility is to monitor day to day staff/patient interactions. Monitor phone calls, perform scheduling audits to ensure staff is accurately entering patient chart information. Chart checks daily, answer all questions to new staff in training. Assist in staff reviews, interviews, training and communications in regard to escalated patient complaints and/or staff complaints. Participate in monthly manager meetings and communicate to scheduling department areas of concerns or changes within the department. The Lead scheduler writes the training documents and edits as needed, updates the insurance list and insurance eligibility.
Some Saturday availability from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm is required, and there is frequently an opportunity for overtime.
Travel to other De La Pena Eye Clinic sites may be required, although infrequent, throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
