POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Armed Site Security Manager will be responsible to proactively identify, develop, implement, and maintain processes, practices, and policies in order to mitigate security risks and to effectively respond to security-related incidents.
- Will monitor security conditions and conduct ongoing analysis of data received from both external and internal sources and advise organizational and client leadership on recommended risk mitigation strategy as appropriate.
- Will develop security education programs to raise the employee awareness level relating to employee personal security, weapon screening, workplace violence, and the protection of property.
- Will research and deploy security technology solutions and innovative security practices and techniques to safeguard people and assets.
- Provide management and oversight of the security operations to ensure the delivery of quality services.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of operations and make recommendations to organizational and client leadership to improve efficiency and effectiveness as appropriate. In collaboration with key stakeholders, develop strategic plans to meet the future needs of the organization and its clients.

9. Ensures a proactive strategy that results in processes/polies that predicts, anticipates and thus prevents accidents and mistakes from happening.
10. Develop a climate that uses evidence-based data to drive safety.
11. Ensures and responsible for program development, labor management and overall operational excellence to include personally fulfillment of assignments when necessary.
12. Fosters a climate of community stabilization of through public and private partnerships and on-going relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have FL Armed Class G Security License or be willing to obtain Class G Security License.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Police Science, Security Management or related field; Master’s degree in related field is preferred.
- Five years of management experience in contract security, corporate security or law enforcement program for a healthcare organization, university, corporation, emergency management or in a federal/ local or state agency.
- Preferred certification and/ or designation of CHPA, CPP or other IAHSS or ASIS related qualifications such as PSP.
- Active member in good standing with professional association.
- Knowledgeable in physical security systems and products.
- Demonstrated experience with the design, implementation and management of large-scale enterprise wide physician security systems.
- Initiative and independent judgement.
- Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with a diversified and complex approach to analyze and interpret specific and non-specific information in a decision making process.
- Requires discriminatory handling of confidential information.

- Work hours subject to change based upon administrative/business needs and will include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, including after-hour, on-call support.

- May be required to travel in and out of state.
- Variable schedule may apply and is dependent upon project requirements.

Pay: $43,680.00 - $45,760.00 per year
