EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience as an MDS Coordinator/Nurse in an LTC setting (minimum of 1 year).
- Knowledge and experience in areas of patient care practices, adult education, infectious diseases, and communication.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to infection control.
- Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of management and employees.
- Current registration with the state Board of Nursing and licensed as a registered nurse.
- Ability to functions independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN (Required)
- RNAC Certified (Required)
- Maintain Current CPR Certification - Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Providers/BLS (Required)
