The Manager, Contract Management works as part of the Technology Vendor Management team focused on managing the contract process, implementing efficiencies, improving productivity, and establishing customer services strategies for Cox Automotive stakeholders. The candidate will engage with a diverse stakeholder group across Cox Automotive, including Enterprise Technology and CAPG team members, leaders, and boundary partners, to ensure the successful adoption and adherence to TVM processes for software, hardware and ETS third party labor requirement fulfillment. Specific Responsibilities:
- Focus: Simplifies complex processes and integrates internal efforts to deliver an optimal customer experience during the renewal and acquisition or disposition of assets.
- Collaboration: Engages others by gathering multiple views and being open to diverse perspectives, focusing on a shared purpose that puts Cox's overall success first.
- Acts Strategically: Makes decisions and sets strategy based on the long-term vision, uses an enterprise-wide perspective to translate strategies into actions, inspires others to embrace and advance the strategy, and creates a clear view of the future state.
- Leads Change: Guides and energizes others, models adaptability, and inspires strong organizational performance through periods of adjustment. Leads the definition and execution of effective IT demand, while developing an understanding of business unit processes, pain points, needs, and their impact on technology delivery.
- Educate stakeholders on process to regularly identify and evaluate events and technology projects that could affect business performance.
- Promote collaboration across Enterprise Technology Services and with other service delivery managers to provide first class IT services to the business to reduce ambiguity and complexity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 3 years' experience in a leadership/management role.
- 6 years of experience leading contract management for enterprise-level programs or projects, procurement processes, or similar activities.
- Able to manage multiple concurrent projects on a broad scale, self-manage and prioritize workload.
- Experience leading cross-functional work teams and influencing outcomes through indirect people leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize direction, navigate ambiguity, and prioritize actions from a variety of stakeholders, often with sensitive or confidential information.
- Can work flexibly with colleagues in multiple locations, over extended hours, as required.
- Works efficiently and effectively under pressure in an environment of continuous improvement.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable with solid business, technical, and financial acumen.
- Confident communicator, with effective presentation and facilitation skills.
- Highly proficient with office productivity and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Apps).
- Ability to work independently, with minimal direction.
