What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Engineer I position at Cox?
This professional is a qualified Client Systems Engineer (level I), who applies a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of technical concepts, practices and procedures related to all aspects of Apple devices with working knowledge of enterprise management platform like Jamf Pro, Microsoft End Point Manager (Intune), etc. This individual would be a member of a team of highly self-driven cross-functional Client Platform Engineering Team responsible for driving technology and providing insights and updates on existing and emerging trends in their respective areas of expertise. This engineer must also work across other team member within technology and business - providing in-depth collaboration technology expertise and guidance on how to meet our long-term technology goals.

Job Responsibilities:
- Some enterprise experience with Jamf Pro or similar MDM solution, including systems management, application deployment, patching management, reporting, etc.
- Some enterprise experience with Automated Device Enrollment and Apple Business Manager, including creating and managing policies and configuration profiles
- Engineer solutions and help troubleshoot Apple, Android and Microsoft Windows operating systems and Apple, Samsung and Dell hardware at a Tier 3 engineering level
- Solid hardware and software technical support analysis with macs
- Communications and network systems analysis
- Automated testing and analysis
- Software automation/Scripting (Bash, Shell, etc.)
- Some experience/understanding of application packaging / deployment
- Working knowledge of Okta
- Working knowledge of PowerBI, PowerAutomate and Splunk
- Technical meetings and presentations with internal Team Members
- Maintenance of client engineering technology standards and best practices
- Work with management to set technology standards and best practices to ensure all services are reliable, scalable, efficient, and meet the business needs
- MDM experience with WorkSpace One and Jamf Pro a plus
- Experience with managing rugged and/or mobile devices a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or industry standard certification in a related field with 1 years of experience.
- Solid knowledge of macs from a hand-on senior desktop support experience.
- Some implementation/support experience related to Client Management platforms.
- Knowledge of computing processes and technology including servers, gateways, communications equipment, workstations, software and hardware and associated diagnostics and tools.
- Comprehensive PC and Mac hardware and software configuration
- Understanding/working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) Policy Management and Configuration
- Understanding/working knowledge Jamf Pro Policy Management and Configuration

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
