The Vehicle Photographer role at Manheim Auto Auction is responsible for taking pre and post-recon photos on our main lot. The Vehicle Photographer will include responsibility for Photo Booth processing as well.

The Vehicle Photographer role at Manheim Auto Auction is responsible for taking pre and post-recon photos on our main lot. The Vehicle Photographer will include responsibility for Photo Booth processing as well.
Additionally, this position supports uploading images captured during the inspection process. This is an outside position. Photos are taken of vehicles in cold and hot weather.
Key Job Responsibilities:
* Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.V
* Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
* Maintain knowledge of the Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
* Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
* Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following available standard operating procedures (SOPs) if the location is so equipped.
* Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum
* High School Diploma/GED
* Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field
* Safe drivers are needed; a valid driver's license is required.
* Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
* Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks with manual dexterity.
* Vision abilities required include close, distance, and depth perception.
Preferred
* 1 year of experience in photography, preferred experience in digital and computer processing a plus.
* Basic computer software skills are preferred.
* Certification or education in photography is a plus.
Work Environment:
* Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
Drug Testing:
To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property, and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.
USD 15.87 - 23.80 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $15.87 - $23.80/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
