Purpose/Introduction
Administrative Professionals are core to the work we do at CPChem. This group of employees supports and enables critical processes and leaders to be successful. Expect to be a multi-tasker and ready to balance priorities while providing responsive and thorough customer service.
Responsibilities
- Apply check, wire, and ACH customer and vendor payments to respective SAP accounts.
- Contact customers for payment information and to resolve application issues.
- Reconcile general ledger and customer accounts.
- Analyze and code short and over payments to facilitate dispute resolution by the business.
- Maintain Accounts Receivable mailbox and all associated requests.
- Clear customer account balances as requested by the Business and Credit Department.
- Continually optimize and maintain statistics information for SAP cah auto-posting.
- Support Accounts Receivable Supervisor with reporting, special projects, and other tasks as needed.
- Backup Accounts Receivable team members as needed.
- Backup Treasury Assistant
- Maintain Treasury general mailbox and all associated requests.
- Process manual ACH, wire and check requests
- Process Investment activities as requested from Cash Management Specialist
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- A minimum 1 year of accounting, cash posting, or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience in a financial or business administration role
- Strong customer service, data entry, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned work with minimal supervision
- Ability to complete multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Ability and willingness to identify process improvement opportunities
- Ability to interact effectively with others in a collaborative work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of accounting, cash posting, or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with SAP cash application posting
- Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Outlook
- Ability to prepare accounting reports using SAP, Excel, Power BI or other methods
