Purpose/Introduction
Chevron Phillips Chemical Company is seeking a motivated Change Manager within the Strategic Execution & Enablement Office (SEE Office). The Change Manager will apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities across numerous strategic initiatives. Change Manager will also provide training and support to other change managers on transformational initiatives across business units and regions, as needed.
Responsibilities
Support Organizational Change Management for Transformation Initiatives. Create actionable deliverables such as (but not limited to): change management plans, stakeholder analysis impact assessments, communications plans and training plans.
Act as the Change Manager on assigned projects. Consult and coach teams in understanding and using the SEE Office change management framework and practices. Conduct training on how to effectively apply the tools available. Guide teams through standard and specialized change management activities, with the intention of upskilling the business unit change managers.
Core activities:
- Continuous Improvement of the change management processes and tools.
- Facilitate training and communications around the SEE Office change management principles, services and tools.
- Evaluate the need for change management on initiatives.
- Support the organization to prepare for and successfully adopt changes associated with assigned projects.
- Coach project managers in the application of standard practices and tools for their change management activities.
- Support change managers with their training and communication activities upon request.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial/Organizational, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
- 3 years of Change Management experience on large scale projects.
- Expertise in common change management activities:
- Stakeholder analysis
- Impact Assessments
- Readiness assessments
- Change management plans
- Communication plans
- Training design, development and facilitation
- Resistance management
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation, training, coaching, and facilitation experience.
- Change management experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels in an organization.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze situations, make sound business decisions, solve problems and deliver results in the face of changing circumstances and resistance from others.
- Must be a strong team player and able to work with and through others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) certification or other change management certification preferred but not required.
