Purpose/Introduction
This role provides a single focal point between site/corporate technical support and the turnaround event team. The TA ERG Integration Manager ensures consistent fixed and rotating equipment practices are being utilized during each turnaround event, to deliver safe, reliable, optimized and cost-effective turnaround events. With a strong focus on critical rotating equipment (turbo machinery and extruders).
Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of turnaround event scope as a support resource that ensures constant practices are being followed for technical scope.
- Manages the white spaces between RMS requirements and turnaround milestones.
- Supports and directs integrated discussions around requirements for TA scope related to critical rotating equipment.
- Turnaround teams’ focal point with the corporate engineering group
- Interface with technical disciplines to ensure all parties are aligned on turnaround deliverables.
- Drives standardization of compressor deck execution across all facilities.
- Supports the turnaround group to improve work processes and establish best practices for rotating equipment.
- Manages and supports the site technical organization during the scope/estimate development process to ensure all appropriate scope and cost items are being captured. Will drive a consistent view of this across the fleet.
Responsibilities (continued)
- Works with turnaround Project Integration Manager to ensure all capital scope is consistent with rotating practices.
- Supports the planning process to ensure all rotating scope are incorporated at the right time.
- Drive critical spare philosophy to reduce risk to facilities and improve turnaround cost forecasting.
- Assist in the standardization of fixed equipment inspection strategy for turnaround scoping and execution.
- Ensures all turnaround technical milestones are met and communicated.
- Single focal point for the turnaround organization for rotating equipment work.
- All turnaround technical work scopes are executed per plan and scheduled.
- Manages and schedules shop, site and corporate technical touchpoints.
- Responsible for the management of off-site repair recommendations during a turnaround event.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of petrochemical experience
- Minimum of 5 years turnaround experience
- Strong turbo-machinery background – Turnaround related
- Compressor deck experience – scope and troubleshooting
- Spare part and repairable strategy knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of turnaround experience
- Good communication skills.
- Good organization, documentation, and follow-up.
- Time management skills.
- Working knowledge of the turnaround work process
- Knowledge of company and/or industry technical requirements – turbo machinery and rotating equipment specific.
- SAP basic skills.
- Computer Skills.
- Attends seminars and conferences to stay abreast of the latest technology and work process.
- Understanding of organizational designs and workflows
