What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Representative (2769) position at CPM?
The Procurement Representative will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the purchase of equipment, services and contracts. in addition, PR will assist client in providing contract administration support.
Among the responsibilities:
- Make sure procurement activity is managed in accordance with client's procedures and best practices.
- Interface with Construction and Project Manager
- Prepare scope of work, proposals, coordinate bid analyses and submit recommendations.
- Participate in commercial change control and help negotiate change orders.
- Develop contract scope documents or content for technical bid packages
- Close out contracts upon completion
- Provide leveraged procurement support for acquisition of construction services, professional services and major equipment in accordance with approved bidder's list.
- RFP generation
- Solicitation of bids via E sourcing. Create the RFP in system, collect vendor responses and prepare comparison analysis to facilitate vendor selection.
- Technical proposal evaluation and management of pre-award RFI process
- Proposal evaluation and management of pre-award RFI process
- Management of bid evaluation and RFI process
- Generation of Recommendation
- Preparation of purchase-requisition packages to SAP ready forms
- Documentation and data (submitals) process management
- Procurement status report, including interface with integrated project schedule
- Expediting of both: documentation and equipment
- Coordination with freight forwarders if required.
- Proficient in SAP
- Resource must have an analytic capability in order to prioritize job requests.
