As a full time, nonexempt, Pharmacy Technician at CPS Solutions, LLC, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. This position will require travel between 2 hospital locations in personal vehicle and provides mileage reimbursement.
Schedule: This full-time position is scheduled 40 hours per week, primarily scheduled 8:00am to 4:30pm or 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday with rotating holidays and approximately every 4th Sunday 8:00am to 12:00pm.
About the Facility: The position will split time between the main OrthoIndy hospital campus, located on Northwest Blvd in Indianapolis, IN and our new hospital campus in Westfield, IN. The main hospital is a 37-bed acute care hospital that specializes in musculoskeletal therapy with both inpatient and outpatient settings and the Westfield hospital will consist of outpatient surgeries only. OrthoIndy is Indiana's first specialty hospital with a focus on orthopedics. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS.
About the Pharmacy: OrthoIndy Westfield will operate as a drug storage area. The main pharmacy at NW Indy location is open Monday from 6:00am-8:00pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00am-9:00pm and Friday from 6:00am-7:00pm. Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am-12:00pm.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of recent Pharmacy Technician work experience, hospital preferred
- IN Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
- Completion of national certification through PTCB or willingness to acquire
- Active IN Driver's License and reliable personal motor vehicle
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine
