As a per diem, nonexempt CPS® Pharmacy Technician at Sierra Tucson Hospital, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage for PTO on an as needed basis and/or 4 hours per month.

About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is centralized and open daily from 8:00am - 6:00pm.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- State of Arizona Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- PTCB Certification preferred
- Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
- At least six months (beyond the externship) current or recent employment as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or retail setting
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements:
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
