As a full-time, nonexempt CPS® Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position will work 32 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm.
About the Facility: Bridgton Hospital, part of the Central Maine Medical Center family, supports a number of primary care and specialty practices including a highly regarded oncology program. The 21-bed, single story, hospital features all private patient rooms, including medical/surgical, intensive care, and family birthing suites. The hospital provides both outpatient and inpatient surgical, radiology, and laboratory services. The emergency department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Automation includes order entry, dispensing and electronic records. CPS® has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS®.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- ME Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
