Overview
We are a growing hearing healthcare practice in the Lincoln, RI area currently seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and effectively counsel while building patient rapport. Our team-oriented practice has been in business for 13 years. We know hearing loss can be challenging and seeking treatment isn’t always easy. We always treat our patients with dignity and respect. We are here to help you understand your hearing loss and to help you successfully manage it. Hours are: Monday-Friday - 9AM - 5PM.
Daily tasks and responsibilities
- Establish trust and rapport with patients, guiding them to appropriate hearing aids for their lifestyles.
- Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.
- Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems.
- Maintain documentation and patient files.
Qualifications
- Active and current hearing aid dispensing license or eligible to obtain.
The successful Hearing Instrument Specialist will also possess the following:
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- The ability to work in a team environment
- The ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
We offer a competitive hourly rate, commission, a Simple IRA after 2 years, paid holidays and paid time off.
