What You Will Be Doing :
Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services on Client control systems.
Handle advanced controls installations, programming, troubleshooting, and repair.
Conduct planned maintenance and inspections as per service agreements.
Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment proficiently.
Complete service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls.
Develop long-term relationships with customers, explaining work performed to their satisfaction.
Communicate and document project status to all project stakeholders.
Serve as a front-line resource to service technicians, providing technical support and training.
Coordinate the work of subcontractors and train technicians.
Participate in on-call rotation as dictated by business unit policies and procedures.
Coordinate multi-tech service calls.
Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicles.
Use technology / software to create and modify programming such as graphics, databases, and sequences.
What You Need for This Position :
High School Diploma or GED.
7 years of Controls Technician experience.
Experience with JCI Metasys, Tridium AX / N4, Distech, Siemens, and Siemens Desigo.
Fundamentals of A / C electrical circuits and low voltage D / C electrical circuits and operation.
Access controls and lighting controls installation and programming skills.
Advanced controls programming and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheets.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and software.
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Demonstrates strong business ethics at all times.
