Description:
As a Systems Engineer on the NGI team, you will perform tasks related to the development of the overall system.
You should have a complete understanding of at least one of the key system subject areas with the opportunity to work in all fields to include systems definition, allocation, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, analysis, and test.
As an NGI Systems Engineer, you will:
• Lead and establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system-level design and decomposition into
• Lead and perform system level requirements, interface definition and management/execution
• Lead studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities
• Perform systems/integration, planning, and execution
• Develop plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities while protecting the primary mission
• Lead and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews
• Lead failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and efficiency analyses for total systems—analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal
• Ensure the logical and detailed conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Perform detailed trade studies, as well as allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into software specifications
• Understand and help guide the MBSE effort on the Program
Successful candidates typically have at minimum a Bachelor's degree and 14 years of proven experience.
Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge and application of Systems Engineering processes including:
1. System-level Requirements and Interface Definition
2. System Integration, Test, and/or Verification
3. Knowledge of Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
• Active DoD Interim Secret Clearance

• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
• Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full life cycle of the program
• Missile design and Test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
• Experience with Cameo/MagicDraw/Rhapsody tools
• Experience with IBM DOORS

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Craig Technologies facility.
Work Schedules: Craig Technologies supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
