What are the responsibilities and job description for the Microsoft 365 Developer position at Crane NXT?
Crane Currency is adding a new role in Malta!
The MS Office 365 Developer will support, maintain and develop our global SharePoint and PowerApps environment, enhancing and continuing to build our Office 365 SharePoint Intranet and Document repository as well as develop applications on the Power Platform. This selected candidate will have expertise in the general Office 365 tenant, supporting other initiatives around PowerBI, Intune, OneDrive and MS Teams as needed.
The Office 365 Developer is responsible for:
Power Platform/SharePoint Developing
- Work extensively in requirement gathering, designing, developing, testing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining new business process automation solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform, SharePoint technologies and Office 365 apps including Teams and OneDrive,
- Build technical data integration and workflow solutions within various systems.
- Assist in migrating, converting, and improving existing solutions from older versions of SharePoint and .NET applications to Power Platform and SharePoint Online platform
- Help and guide users to effectively use Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online and Microsoft office 365 applications and expands its capabilities throughout the organization.
- Apply best practices and design methodologies to create easy-to-use and maintainable applications
- Be the Subject Matter Expert on related technologies such as Microsoft Dataverse and Power BI, as a means to securely store, manage and analyse Business Application Data
- Identify new areas and business processes where PowerApps/SharePoint can be leveraged and facilitate continual process improvement.
SharePoint Administration and Troubleshooting
- Administering and supporting our Microsoft O365 configuration, with a focus on SharePoint, OneDrive and MS Teams; this ncludes monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and configuration
- Performing preventative maintenance and help manage security within Office 365
- Planning and documenting O365 configuration, migrations, testing and validations strategies
- Ensure backups run successfully
- Troubleshoot application errors, define scope and determine and implement possible solutions
