ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate with various departments as needed
  • Document existing company process at a detailed level
  • Analyzes processes and recommends improvements working with SME
  • Document process improvements working with Quality Department
  • Implement refined procedure working with applicable department Manager- Effectively communicate with clients, vendors and employees
  • When applicable develop KPI to help measure process improvement
  • Identify Quality Standards for procedures
  • Prepares technical reports by analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Serves as primary technical support for site database operations, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WM). Ensures operational system integrity, including setup and control processes.
  • Interfaces with Operations staff to review operating procedures and maximize system efficiencies. Provides regular communication to site Operations and internal departments regarding operational issues, process flows, customer requirements, account specific issues, etc. Includes analysis, insight, and recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing and walking
  • Will entail some business travel (occasionally overnight)
  • Position requires the use of vision and ability to adjust focus
  • Position will require presence on-site at the assigned work location

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Expert/Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and comprehension)
  • Highly motivated and energetic with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and continually changing environment
  • Must be able to operate independently and within a team environment
  • Must be able to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates initiative and adaptability


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required
  • 4 years of logistics/freight forwarding experience
  • 1 years of management experience
  • 1 years of project management experience


CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES

ISO Auditor or Six Sigma certifications preferred
