We are seeking full-time Baristas, cashiers with the ability to work in a fast-paced café. Attention to detail, organization and cleanliness are all needed from our Baristas. You must be self-motivated, have strong communication skills, and have the ability to produce quality coffee and drinks in this busy Café. Basic Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
• Prepare food and beverages to our recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Ability to stand and be on your feet for extended periods of time

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

• Ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds up and down stairs. For example, you’ll be handling bags of coffee beans, cold brew kegs, crates of milk, and trash bags/bins
• Ability to smell and taste coffee and food, helping ensure quality control for each cup and food item

What you’ll be doing

• Greet guests when they come in and ensure that their orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Learn our drink menu and prepare and serve drinks to our standards
• Ensure the cafe is clean, stocked, and that guests have everything they need.
• Work with fellow team members to ensure that shift tasks are delegated and completed
• Handle guest concerns and questions thoroughly and communicate with managers
• Prepare the cafe for openings and close the cafe so it is ready for the next day

• Support your team in keeping the cafe running smoothly and beautifully - these tasks may vary but can include washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning and organizing, and taking out trash.
• Expedite and serve delicious pastry’s and Breakfast sandwiches created by our talented kitchen and baking team
• Stay knowledgeable about our current and seasonal coffee, pastry and sandwich offerings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.25 - $17.00 per hour
