Bagel Artist
Cravings is a locally owned and operated upscale specialty restaurant. Focusing on New York bagels for breakfast, and artisan sandwiches for lunch. Located on University Boulevard, just off of the strip and the University of Alabama, Cravings is expanding rapidly and looking for new members to join our team!
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Food Prep workers at Cravings will operate flat-top grills and ovens to prepare food items on request for customers. Other duties include food running, meat slicing, inventory stocking, and assembling/plating food items.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Prepare food, stock inventory, slice meat.
-Operate MICROS Point of Sale system.
-Handle cash and credit card transactions.
-Operate grill and oven, (training provided).
-Stock refrigerators and coolers.
-Create end of day reports using MICROS.
-Assemble food items to order while working on the line.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors, OR High School OR GED
Experience: 1-2 years experience in the food service industry preferred.
Other: Servsafe food handler certification preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
