What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at Crayon?
We are seeking an experienced and driven BDR Manager to lead the hiring, training, and management of one of Crayon's Business Development teams in Boston. This individual will be responsible for expanding our BDR team's reach and impact and will join the sales management team to continue to execute on the Crayon sales playbook. The position will report directly to the Sr Manager of Business Development Reps.
A little about the job:
- Build on the foundation for the BDR program at Crayon and enhance the playbook for success
- Responsible for recruiting, training, and managing Crayon’s Business Development team
- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations to meet monthly goals: activity, metrics, opportunities, and sourced revenue targets
- Work with internal resources to create and manage a scalable prospecting structure - including template creation, account and contact targeting, testing, and scale
- Work and collaborate with other sales managers, directors, and executives to optimize process, systems, messaging, and alignment strategies
- Enhance and improve BDR playbooks including on-boarding and training documentation
- Work with marketing to develop and optimize lead sources and sales touch points
- Report internally on sales activity, opportunities, and sourced revenue
- Build skills, confidence, and trust with direct reports as well as provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement
- Maintain professional knowledge of the markets in which Crayon serves
Requirements
