Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d)

We support them from our international offices — in Berlin, London, New York, and Mumbai. 

Due to some truly exciting new business growth, we have openings in our Product Development Team. We’re looking for a senior manager with solid product management and ad-tech experience. You would lead, shape, and grow our offering of innovative retail media products. It’s a chance to work with highly skilled engineers, excellent designers, and engaged enterprise sized clients.

Your responsibilities

• As a Backend Engineer, you will design and implement new features and enhancements to our platform that require elegant, yet powerful software solutions
• You will be working with real-time technologies in a platform that requires hard near real-time constraints
• You will work closely with other engineers to improve performance and make these systems go faster and handle more data
• You will work with the Product and Frontend teams to build innovative features for our clients
• You will work collaboratively with other engineering teams to ensure real-time technology integrates seamlessly with other pieces of the platform
• You will take part in writing tests and make sure we keep high test coverage
• You will prioritize bug fixes to ensure critical up-time

Your profile

• You have at least six years of coding and working experience in a related field and ideally an agile environment
• You have strong working and coding experience in GoLang
• Experience with other programming languages such as Scala and Java are beneficial
• You know how to build high performance, multi-threaded applications
• You have experience working with Docker or Kubernetes and containers
• Experience with data processing pipelines and large scale data processing technologies as Spark is beneficial
• Working experience in a cloud platforms (i.e. GCP, AWS) is a big plus
• Experience with databases, real-time processing engines and low latency is preferred
• You are patient to mentor other team members
• You can design an architecture to systems with a high level of complexity
