Responsibilities the Manager of Property Accounting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple properties
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Provide variance analysis and explanations for financial performance.
- Oversee month end close for the property accounting group
- Monthly reconciliations and journal entries
- Train and mentor a team of 3
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
Qualifications of the Manager of Property Accounting:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 4-6 years of accounting experience in the real estate industry required
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
