Creative Floors is seeking a highly motivated Sales Assistant responsible to assist the sales manager with all sales activities:
- Welcome and engage in conversation with retail customers
- Working with clients inside & outside of the showroom in person, on phone, or via email
- Prepare bids and job proposals for the sales manager so they can be sent out in a timely manner
- Writing & submitting orders; Creating detailed work orders for the installation team
- Assist with growing our existing client relationships and starting new relationships with designers, builders & property managers
- In-person presentations with Sales Manager, networking outside of the office at some after-hours events
- Ability to understand our customer’s needs in order to pair them with the right products for their project
- Able to prioritize & multi-task to complete tasks with a sense of urgency
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
- Manage checking out and receiving back flooring samples from clients
- Stay up to date on new products & services with training by our vendors and other sources
- Work as a team with other sales consultants on a collective company bonus structure
- Desire to become a flooring expert
- Ability to problem-solve, come up with a solution
- Professional appearance & phone etiquette
Requirements:
- Experience in sales is preferred
- Experience in administration with Quickbooks is preferred
- Detail Oriented & Very organized
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills (with phone calls and emails)
- Strong computer skills (emails / putting together price quotes / working on computer in various programs)
- Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
