Company – Creative Floors is an established flooring company in the heart of Edwards, CO featuring the latest styles of flooring including wide plank hardwood flooring, wall-to-wall carpet, one-of-a-kind area rugs, vinyl plank, rubber flooring to name a few. We are known for our superior customer service and professional staff as well as our unique modern, high-end boutique-style showroom.

Creative Floors is seeking a highly motivated Sales Assistant responsible to assist the sales manager with all sales activities:

  • Welcome and engage in conversation with retail customers
  • Working with clients inside & outside of the showroom in person, on phone, or via email
  • Prepare bids and job proposals for the sales manager so they can be sent out in a timely manner
  • Writing & submitting orders; Creating detailed work orders for the installation team
  • Assist with growing our existing client relationships and starting new relationships with designers, builders & property managers
  • In-person presentations with Sales Manager, networking outside of the office at some after-hours events
  • Ability to understand our customer’s needs in order to pair them with the right products for their project
  • Able to prioritize & multi-task to complete tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
  • Manage checking out and receiving back flooring samples from clients
  • Stay up to date on new products & services with training by our vendors and other sources
  • Work as a team with other sales consultants on a collective company bonus structure
  • Desire to become a flooring expert
  • Ability to problem-solve, come up with a solution
  • Professional appearance & phone etiquette

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales is preferred
  • Experience in administration with Quickbooks is preferred
  • Detail Oriented & Very organized
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills (with phone calls and emails)
  • Strong computer skills (emails / putting together price quotes / working on computer in various programs)
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
