Broadway Merchandise Sales Associate
THE ROLE:
Creative Goods Merchandise, a dynamic full-service merchandising company, is currently seeking Merchandise Retail Sales Associates. We are looking for passionate candidates who exhibit the core values of excellence, commitment to safety and value a collaborative and supportive work environment. This job will be primarily in theatrical environments. Qualified applicants must be fully available, at a minimum, Friday – Sunday every week; greater availability is strongly preferred. Holiday availability for this position is strongly preferred. Candidates with fully open availability will be prioritized for these positions.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities
• Greeting theater patrons and processing all merchandise transactions.
• Following proper cash handling procedures.
• Contributing to the overall sales goals of the show with up-selling skills.
• Maintaining an ongoing working knowledge of products, prices, and promotions.
• Completing restock tasks, such as folding, adds, etc. to ensure visual standards.
• Effectively managing lines while maintaining enthusiasm.
• Receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise inventory.
** Employed team members are required to be on-site at all times while on shift. Employees are not allowed to leave the job site except on their authorized meal break for any shift of 6 hours or more. Employees leaving the job site without express permission will be disciplined, up to and including termination.
General Qualifications
• Retail experience is desired.
• Strong basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division required.
• Candidates must be able to positively engage with customers, team members and leaders.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Theater and entertainment experience/interest is desired but not necessary.
• Ideal candidate is a quick learner, very outgoing, people oriented, has excellent communication skills and sales/marketing.
Working Conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and safely install display elements.
• Ability to maneuver stairs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Job Types: Part Time
Pay Rate: $15/hr
