Hiring a kiln loader and studio lead! This position is both back and front of house. Kiln Keyholders are responsible for overseeing all daily studio, tea bar, and kiln room operations as well as other team members.
This is a unique workplace! It is an opportunity to work in both fired arts and food service. Applicants should be highly reliable, accountable, motivated, and meticulous. It is necessary to learn and implement information quickly, handle stress well, and enjoy working in a busy, challenging environment. For continuity throughout the studio, knowledge of all tea room operations is also required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & AVAILABILITY:
- Extended time on feet; ability to move for up to 10 hours
- Frequent walking, climbing, carrying, bending, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to handle, place, and position fragile items
- Ability to go up and down stairs and ladders
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours a week including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work our busiest months, November and December, with minimal time off
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- 21
- Customer and food service experience
- Basic computer and math skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Food Worker Card and MAST certificate
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
