What are the responsibilities and job description for the Doggy Daycare Driver & Dog Walker position at Creature Comforts & Pawsitively Marblehead?
Like driving? Love dogs? We’ve got the job for you! Creature Comforts is a pet service business located in Marblehead, MA that offers doggy daycare, dog walking, and a boutique retail store, Pawsitively Marblehead. We are looking to add enthusiastic, animal-loving people to our doggy daycare team!
We are currently looking for someone that is interested in driving our doggy daycare vans and buses. We are currently looking to hire someone for a position Tuesdays – Fridays, but additional availability on Mondays or weekends is a plus. The position would include the morning and afternoon daycare driving shifts, as well as doing dog walks or working at the daycare in between.
Daycare vehicle drivers use company vans or buses to transport dogs from their homes in Marblehead and Swampscott to our daycare facility in Salem. Shifts must include both the morning and afternoon transportation loads, and may also include a mid-day shift at the daycare or doing dog walks, so availability between 8am – 4pm is required.
An ideal candidate would have experience working with pets and driving large or commercial vehicles. A background in animal science or behavior is a plus. Candidates need to be 18 years old, have access to a car, a clean driving record, and live in the North Shore area, as schedules vary daily and easy access to our clients and facilities would be necessary.
Applicants must be comfortable working solo and in a team setting, being physically active throughout the day, and working in all climates both indoors and outdoors. Being able to follow a specific schedule, GPS routes, and attention to detail are all necessary as well.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We follow local guidelines for mask-wearing, and do not go to clients houses if anyone in the house is under quarantine. Daily cleaning protocols are also in place.
