About Credible Mortgage Operations

Credible has already saved our borrowers more than $165 million in interest on their student and personal loans - and we aren’t stopping there. We have built a mortgage refinance platform that brings the transparency and savings we have delivered to borrowers in our existing product verticals to the mortgage industry.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a meticulous, collaborative, and organized Mortgage Closer to join a fast-paced, rapidly growing company on a mission to provide simplicity, choice, and unbiased support to our borrowers' mortgage refinance decisions. Credible is looking for a top-performing Mortgage Closer that is energized by helping borrowers make smart financial decisions. A successful candidate will have a proven success record closing loans efficiently, collaborating with Loan Officers, and paying attention to the key details.

You will:

• Working knowledge of Closing Disclosures.
• Working knowledge of the loan closing process
• Keeping both the borrower and loan officer informed about the status of the loan file by adhering to our loan tracking and communication standards
• Sharing feedback about our borrower experience
• Backend process with our Product, Engineering, and Business Operations teams to refine and perfect our Mortgage Operation
• Verifying and analyzing financial information and documentation provided by borrower to satisfy underwriting conditions.

Education and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience closing/processing Conforming and Jumbo mortgages, preferably for a Broker
• Experience within Encompass
• Experience generating Closing Disclosures within all applicable laws
• Strong understanding of federal, state and/or regulatory mortgage lending requirements, mortgage product types, pricing, and underwriting guidelines
• Previous experience in Financial Technology
