We are looking for an IT Business & Data Analyst to support Finance Change, Product Control, and FMAR programs, including key business and regulatory initiatives across the bank’s front-to-back infrastructure. These programs comprise both function-specific and firm-wide projects. This role resides in Data Sourcing & F2B Projects IT, within the FSG Tech Department (supports multiple Risk and Finance functions). Product Control IT includes systems for generating and reporting P&L, reconciliations, and control functions such as Sub-Ledger, General Ledger, and Price Testing.
We are looking for a motivated, expert, goal-oriented Business Analyst ready to tackle key responsibilities within the Investment Banking division, not limited to:
- Translating business requirements into technical documentation and ensuring all key partners (business and technical) have a clear and common understanding of both the business priorities, needs, and the proposed solutions.
- Collaborating closely with multiple business units and IT groups to capture, document, analyze and communicate the needs and requirements of the business users.
- Working hands-on to build ground breaking business solutions and striving to deliver calculated initiatives, using deep functional and technical expertise (including Big Data platforms, Machine Learning algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, automation technologies)
- Using proven business analysis and data skills designs and delivering solutions to meet business needs.

We are looking for applicants with an equivalent experience of 2 years of excellent business/data analysis, with a focus on systems analysis and development of business and functional requirements in an Investment Bank corporate environment. Excellent technical experience in modeling databases, including complex SQL queries and working with large datasets/files
- Exposure to Big Data platforms, Data Analysis, R/Python for Machine Learning, Data Visualization, AI, Data Science Technologies, and Agile Methodologies Tools (JIRA)
- Equivalent experience on complex and large architecture flows, business process dependencies, and project lifecycle delivery
- Good understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience of financial tools (Sub-ledger, Ledger, Regulatory), rules, and regulations
- Excellent partnership skills and the ability to work closely with multiple key partners, including Line, Change, and IT
- Intellectually curious, motivated, solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies & engineering processes
- Attention to detail and phenomenal problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under tight timeframes
