An exciting opportunity to join us as a Risk & Control Officer working across Payments IT within the Payments Control & Enhancement Program (PCEP). This role will manage payment related control issues and audit points across the bank, and face-off with divisional payment officers to drive compliance initiatives. The Risk & Control Officer plays an integral role in ensuring technology compliance standard methodologies are adhered to by BAU teams in Group Operations Technology and Change the Bank initiatives.
Key Objectives/Responsibilities Encouraged:
Drive process, data, and system interlock across broader payments architecture and Group Operations with a focus on risk and control.
Establish a governance structure to facilitate ongoing assessments of payments technology against current policies and the strategic target state control environment.
Educate, challenge, and ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements: Face off with internal & external auditors on audit reviews and exams
Demonstrate accountability for key risk projects by establishing requirements, providing innovative & control-minded ideas, and motivating change in partnership with all key partners
The Payments Control and Enhancements Program (PCEP) was established to reduce payments risk and provide a more broad view and framework to payments management and processing within the bank. As a multi-year Top Program with executive sponsorship, PCEP’s three key objectives are to: Reduce the risk of erroneous payments leaving the bank Implement clear monitoring and assessment of the reduction of payment processing risk Establish a Payment Service organization for the ongoing management and reduction of payment processing risk We are a department which values Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and is committed to realizing the firm’s D&I ambition which is an integral part of our global cultural values
