ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Primarily responsible for creating/maintaining documentation for software enhancements, implementations, upgrades, configuration changes and other application modifications.
Assists with documenting test scenarios and organizing testing results in a clear, professional manner.
Assists in providing necessary documentation in the Change Request system as part of the change management process.
Work with, project teams, vendors and staff as appropriate to ensure the timely completion of assigned document deliverables. This may include running reports, running and validating data exports, creating/maintaining technical specifications, creating/maintaining procedures, creating/maintaining version release notes.
Provides assistance in the troubleshooting, training and support of software applications.
Works with department staff to develop reporting and analytics for systems implemented.
Works to implement and maintain a version control system for all custom development. This includes technical specifications, version release notes, procedure updates and assisting with documentation associated with processing Change Requests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An associate degree in computer science or 2 years of equivalent experience working with IT systems or on technical project teams.
Proficient word processing and spreadsheet skills, preferably in MS Word, Visio and Excel.
Experience with understanding and writing technical documentation preferred.
Understanding of the functions involved with banking and lending.
Must be detail-oriented, have excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills, a professional and courteous demeanor and the ability to work shifts that may include weekend and extended hours.
Understanding of financial regulations like BSA, OFAC, FDCPA, Fair Lending, etc…
Responsible for abiding and complying with the policy for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering laws and regulations (BSA/AML) and the policy for compliance with office of foreign assets control laws and regulations (OFAC).
