We are currently seeking a PCB Assembler to join our 2nd Shift (M-Th, 4PM-2AM) Surface Mount Technology (SMT) team. As a Cree Lighting Assembler, you will assemble printed circuit boards through soldering, testing, and machine operating. You will work in a clean and bright climate-controlled warehouse environment.
This work and team are ONSITE, with an HOURLY RATE starting at $15.00.

Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of functions in the production of LED and driver boards including but not limited to solder, inspection, and machine operation
- Will set-up, operate, load, and monitor specialized equipment to ensure quality product is produced
- May be responsible for monitoring equipment operation, maintaining supply levels, inspecting final product, cleaning the work environment, and performing light data entry
- Will assist in setting up workstations and will following written or verbal process specifications in completing all assignments
Qualifications
- Proven work history showing a strong work ethic and stability in previous positions
- Experience in one of the following work areas: board population and assembly, soldering, and/or mechanical/electromechanical assembly
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Reliable transportation available
- Good communication skills, both written and oral; ability to read and write effectively
- Ability approach tasks with a detail-oriented manner
- Ability to sit or stand for 10 hours or more per day
- Cannot have metal pace makers due to the high magnetic charge of SMT x-ray machinery
Preferred Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
- 2-5 years electrical, technical, or high-end manufacturing experience
- Aptitude for handling repetitive tasks
- ESD and driver board / LED board handling knowledge
- Recent IPC-610 certification
