Creekside Physical Medicine is searching for a motivated and energetic Medical Assistant for our state leading migraine treatment center.

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Scribing for physicians/physicians assistants during clinical treatment and executing clinical decisions
- Take and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare examination rooms and assist in procedures.
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Perform blood draws as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with medical administrative tasks, such as billing and insurance claims processing
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in performing basic clinical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering medications
- Professional demeanor
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide quality patient care
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Pay: $19-$23 per hour commensurate with experience
