Job Description:
Clients Central Office Maintenance Division requires advanced GIS support to their Program Manager for the Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS application). Candidate must be able to take direction from the Program Manager to both create and manage the creation of GIS maps, map attributes, and associated mapping reports in support of HMMS. This will include the ability to use and the direct the use of ArcGIS in the performance of these duties. Candidate must be able to use data submitted in Excel spreadsheets, databases, or other similar systems to both create GIS maps as well as populate associated field in HMMS as directed by the Client Program Manager. Candidate must be able to receive requests from Client field users and provide expert advice and support regarding all GIS mapping to/from HMMS.

- Perform work that is related to the development, integration, and implementation of GIS systems and databases
- Implement GIS analysis and mapping solutions and other technical work-related to GIS
- Create new data products using various GIS software desktop and web platforms for a variety of
- projects and work efforts
- Perform a variety of analysis tasks that are related to the development and implementation of the GIS system and carry out GIS best practices
- Develop data quality assurance methods
- Develop and maintain automated processing workflows
- Perform programming to create, maintain, display, and update the enterprise geographic information
