Long-term Care Traveling Maintenance Assistant Opportunity!

Crest Healthcare Group is seeking a Traveling Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team!

Qualified candidates must be professional, knowledgeable, and able to travel regularly. Our Traveling Maintenance Assistant helps provide our residents with a clean, well-maintained, and fully functioning living environment.

To accomplish this goal, the maintenance technician's responsibilities include general repairs and remodeling to common areas of the buildings and grounds, emergency repairs, record keeping, and more.

Your Job

• Ability to work independently in all facets of the position.
• Ability to troubleshoot, develop a plan of repair, and organize materials and tools to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, minor electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed.
• Has knowledge of the proper selection and use of tools and equipment.
• Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to the supervisor
• Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
• Comply with all safety and health regulations

Who You Are

• High school graduate or GED
• 2 years of experience (Have other qualifying experience? We want to hear from you!)
• General knowledge of drywall, plumbing, and electrical.
• Motivated and organized team player with strong problem-solving skills
