What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Journeyman position at Crete United?
Stanmark Electric, a Crete United Company is looking for an Electrical Technician that is a licensed Colorado Residential or Journeyman Wireman with 4 years' experience in the residential and commercial arena. We have a competitive benefits package and are looking for candidates who want to progress.
Applicants will need to hold a valid Residential Wiring or Journeyman certification to be considered for this position. This is a full-time, year-round position ranging from $26/hr to $35/hr DOE.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have full and complete knowledge of how to best interpret and read project blueprint drawings.
- Must have the ability to layout any room or area with NEC compliant devices, luminaires and control.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of how to install all raceways and adhere to NEC compliant wiring methods.
- Must be able to work safely, quickly and efficiently.
- Must be comfortable working with your hands and a variety of tools.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair existing electrical wiring and systems.
- Must be self-motivated and show great initiative.
- Ability to adapt to daily changes and mobilize to multiple job sites as needed.
- Maintain van inventory and van mechanical service
- Complete all necessary paperwork for each project as required
- Professional demeanor with colleagues and customers.
- Participate in the On Call rotation
- Field Employee Training – Educate on NEC compliance. Ensure installation efficiencies and standards.
- Production – Monitor and manage field production and implement paths to improvement. Quality vs. Quantity.
- Best Practices – Improve processes & policies in support of Company goals. Monitor adherence to current policies.
- Safety – Lead by example. Enforce and promote all Stanmark safety policies and standards.
- Company Tools – Maintain, clean, and organize company van. Report broken company owned tools to the office.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Journeyman License or Residential License
